When adding a new item to your inventory in SIX ERP, it's crucial to thoroughly define product properties to ensure accurate tracking and customer satisfaction.
These properties include Styles, Models, Sizes, Colors, and Warranty information, each contributing to the detailed characterization of an item.
Styles allow for categorization based on aesthetic or functional design, essential for industries like fashion or furniture.
Models differentiate products by specific features or technologies, particularly in electronics or automotive parts.
Sizes are vital for items requiring precise fit specifications, such as clothing or accessories.
Colors provide visual options for customers, enhancing appeal and allowing for better inventory segmentation.
Warranty details ensures customers are informed about the support and service guarantees available, which is crucial for after-sales service and building trust.
Defining these properties during the product addition process in SIX ERP not only aids in streamlining the inventory management but also plays a significant role in meeting consumer needs and preferences effectively.

Additionally defining what the items capabilities in the context of SIX ERP are, is vital to where this product or item can be used.
Can be sold: Indicates if the product is available for sale.
Can be inventory: Whether the product can be stocked.
Can be purchased: If the product is available for purchase.
Can be used to manufacture: Signifies if the product is used in manufacturing.

You can also include a detailed long description of the product here, add Images and fine tune the product to your specific needs.
In the SIX ERP system, the flexibility of product configuration is enhanced through the use of extended property settings, allowing administrators to tailor product entries to reflect specific attributes such as Style, Mode, Size, or Color. These properties are crucial for businesses that offer products with variations and need to accurately track each variant's performance. For instance, a clothing item can be categorized by style (casual, formal, sport), size (small, medium, large), color (red, blue, green), and mode (men, women, children). Properly defining these attributes in the system not only facilitates a more organized inventory but also improves the shopping experience for customers by enabling more precise searches and filtering options. This level of detail is vital for maintaining a dynamic and responsive inventory management system, ensuring that products meet the specific demands and preferences of the marketplace.

Product Images Tab: Upload high-quality curated images of the product by dragging and dropping them into the image upload container. This visual representation is vital for sales and inventory checks.
Once all information is accurately filled and verified, click "SAVE" to store the product details in the inventory system. This step finalizes the addition of the new product, ensuring it is now part of your inventory and can be managed through the SIX ERP system.
By following these steps, you ensure that each product is added to your inventory with comprehensive and precise information, facilitating better management and visibility across the organization.
