This documentation provides a comprehensive guide for staff members on how to manually track their working hours using SIX ERP. The system is designed to be intuitive, ensuring that all employees can easily record their shift start and end times, contributing to accurate timekeeping and payroll processing.
Log In to SIX ERP: Begin by signing into your SIX ERP account using your designated credentials. Ensure you have access rights to the time tracking functionality.
Navigate to the top right menu bar of the SIX ERP interface: Look for the Time Tracking icon, which is typically represented by a clock or stopwatch symbol.
Click on this icon to open the time tracking dialog and enter your Shift Start Time.

Upon opening the time tracking dialog, you'll be presented with an option to enter your shift start time.
By default, the system automatically sets the current time as your shift start time. If necessary, you can adjust this to reflect the actual start of your shift.

Confirm the time entry to start tracking your work hours.

Logging out of SIX ERP does not affect your time tracking. The system will continue to record your shift duration based on the start time you entered.
To ensure accurate time records, it's essential for staff members to log their shift end time:
Manual Logout:
At the end of your shift, return to the Time Tracking icon on the top right menu bar.

Open the time tracking dialog and select the option to end your shift. This action logs the current time as your shift end time.

Confirm your logout time to complete the day's time tracking.

Automatic Logout:
Depending on the setup of your SIX ERP system, staff members may be automatically logged out at the end of their scheduled shift.
This feature ensures that shift end times are accurately captured, even if manual logout is overlooked.
Manual Adjustment: Staff members are responsible for accurately recording their shift start and end times. Any necessary adjustments should be made in a timely manner to ensure payroll accuracy.
System Setup: The functionality for automatic logout at shift end is dependent on the specific configuration of your SIX ERP system. Consult with your system administrator to understand how this feature is implemented within your organization.
By diligently following these steps for manual time tracking in SIX ERP, staff members can contribute to efficient and accurate timekeeping practices within their organization. This not only facilitates smooth payroll processing but also supports compliance with working hours regulations and internal policies.
