Creating a Proposal Template

The first step to enhancing your proposal creation process in SIX ERP involves setting up customizable templates. Here’s how you can create a new proposal template:

Accessing the Templates Tab:

Within SIX ERP, navigate to the relevant contract or section where proposal templates are managed.

Look for the Templates tab located on the preview pane of all templates, which houses all your template-related functionalities. Click on this tab to open the template management view.

Adding a New Template:

In the Templates tab, locate and click on the Add Template button. This action opens a new template creation window.

Configuring Your Template:

Template Title: Enter a descriptive title for your new template. Choose a title that clearly indicates the template's purpose or the type of proposals it’s designed for, facilitating easy recognition and selection in the future.

Template Content: Use the provided editor to add your predefined template content. This HTML editor allows for rich text formatting, enabling you to include various styles, images, and links to make your proposal template both comprehensive and visually appealing.

Saving the Template:

After customizing the template content to your satisfaction, click the Save button to store your new template. It will now be available for use in future proposals.

Inserting a Template into a Proposal

Once you have created a proposal template, inserting it into a new proposal is straightforward:

  2. Click the Insert button next to your chosen template. The content of the template will be automatically injected into the proposal editor, populating the proposal with the predefined content.
