List and Split Screen Proposal Previews

This manual provides comprehensive guidance on utilizing the split-screen view for proposals within SIX ERP. This feature is designed to enhance your productivity and streamline the proposal management process. We'll also delve into the advanced functionality of adding custom texts before or after proposals, ensuring your communications are personalized and effective.

Accessing Split-Screen Preview

To access the split-screen preview for proposals:

  1. Navigate to the proposals list within the SIX ERP interface.

  2. To preview a proposal in split-view, click either the proposal number or the action menu located on the right side of each list item.

This action opens the proposal in a split-screen view, with the list of proposals on one side and the selected proposal preview on the other.

Detail View Functionalities

Within the detail view of a proposal in split-screen mode, the following actions are available:

Edit Button: Click to enter the edit mode, where you can modify the proposal details.

More Button: Reveals a dropdown list containing actions such as:

  1. View Proposal: Opens a detailed view of the proposal.

  2. Attach Files: Allows you to attach documents to the proposal.

  3. Change Status: Update the proposal status among "Sent," "Open," "Revised," "Declined," or "Accepted."

Convert: Converts the proposal to either a Proforma/Estimate or an Invoice.

On the right side of the split preview:

The preview mode also showcases all relevant proposal data, ensuring you have the information needed at a glance.

Extended Functionality

Tabs at the heading of the preview section facilitate adding comments, reminders, tasks, or notes related to the proposal, enhancing collaboration and follow-up.

Tracking Client Interaction:

Post-email dispatch, track whether the client has viewed the email or opened the proposal in client view.

If enabled, clients can sign the proposal using an electronic signature, adding a layer of convenience and speed to the approval process.

Editing Accompanying Texts

To personalize your proposal further, use the Merge Fields functionality:

In the proposal editing mode, navigate to the section where you wish to insert custom text.

Utilize Merge Fields to insert dynamic content that will auto-populate based on the proposal data. This can include client names, proposal numbers, dates, and more, tailored to your client's information.

Craft your message around these fields to ensure the proposal feels personal and directly addresses the recipient's needs or questions.

This feature is pivotal in creating a proposal that resonates with your clients, significantly increasing the likelihood of a favorable response.
